Who we serve

A huge complaint of our students has been the lack of other trainings that focus on the perinatal disparities of the African American community. As a result, they feel unsupported and alone. The Divine Birth Academy is the solution for all doulas, and specifically doulas of color, because we provide training focused on the disparities of the African American community and mentorship that provides a community of fellow Doulas. As a result of this, our doulas feel supported, empowered, and motivated. They no longer have to risk or worry about not receiving the full blueprint to becoming a thorough Doula or experiencing a lack of support through their Doula Journey because our Doula Academy is here to meet all their needs.
